I.'s corner Lisandro Abeita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arnout Reekers quite easily take care of the ball. After 83 minutes of play, Q. T. I.'s Maximino Lorenz made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnout Reekers was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Kees Mooiweer got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 94th minute Anibal Lluques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Anibal Lluques's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnout Reekers was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Despite being the better team, Netherlands failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
