Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulryk Prosowski in the 5th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Carpasús FC - FDC's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Oliveiro Gijon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. 21 minutes into the match, 孙鸿鹏 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 孙鸿鹏 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oliveiro Gijon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Carpasús FC - FDC's Inacio Garrote dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 34th minute of play forced Carpasús FC - FDC's goalkeeper Oliveiro Gijon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Netherlands defense, Ulryk Prosowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. The Netherlands fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnout Reekers should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulryk Prosowski in the 42nd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by Netherlands's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ernesto Lavatrice was slow to take the kick. During this time Carpasús FC - FDC's players had a chance to rest. The throw-in from Ernesto Lavatrice in the 47th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Netherlands's Mathijn Doctor. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliveiro Gijon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 52nd minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Carpasús FC - FDC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer to fire away a dangerous shot which Oliveiro Gijon despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 孙鸿鹏 in the 58th minute of play. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inacio Garrote, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oliveiro Gijon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cugat Mendiola in the 80th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oliveiro Gijon came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer. But to his dismay, Gijsbert ter Kruimer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 91st minute. Sol Prat tried in the game's 91st match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Oliveiro Gijon. An annoying self made goal, 3-3.
