Izydor Nowakowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Tobaczewski in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Gilbert Tobaczewski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Keld Paulsen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Bertram Svenningsen hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Gilbert Tobaczewski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Keld Paulsen. The goal made the score 2-1. In the 25th minute, Chris Nygaard made a precise shot to the right of Izydor Nowakowski. Galaxy Team U18's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Izydor Nowakowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 31st minute of the match. Denmark's Lars Steen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Krzysztof Adamowicz, made in the 34th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilbert Tobaczewski got free with Keld Paulsen in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 48 minutes into the match, Chris Nygaard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Izydor Nowakowski. Galaxy Team U18's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chris Nygaard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. After the first half Denmark were leading 2-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Bielecki was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Galaxy Team U18's Przemyslaw Zahemski got a free kick in the 55th minute. Krzysztof Adamowicz made in the 66th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Julian Bielecki immediately put the ball in play. In the 78th minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Izydor Nowakowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, Przemyslaw Zahemski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The referee showed Leszek Sierocki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
