David Barbier was slow to take the kick. During this time France's players had a chance to rest. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Peletier in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dida Medeiros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Martin Birila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxime Durand having to interfere. Alexis Bruneau's late challenge caught a G-Torp FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexis Bruneau helped the player get up and apologised. Alexis Bruneau kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. The long shot by Dennis Löv in the 24th minute really tested Maxime Durand's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Dida Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Peletier in the 25th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Frank Peletier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dida Medeiros was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dennis Löv made a kick off. In the 61st minute, Sven-Arne Sundin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Frank Peletier took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Dida Medeiros to make any attempt to save it. In the 65th minute, Alexis Bruneau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Birila in the 71st minute of play. Frank Peletier who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Dida Medeiros when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 77 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Birila came free, but Maxime Durand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 92 played minutes G-Torp FF got a freekick which was hit by Patrik Westerberg. 93 minutes into the match, G-Torp FF's goalkeeper Dida Medeiros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Peletier. G-Torp FF succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though France had controlled the match.
