Frank Sachs started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the game, John-Paul Marquant recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn. John-Paul Marquant showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Terry Peysson in the 9th minute of play. Green Madness's Terry Peysson got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Green Madness's John-Paul Marquant sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John-Paul Marquant in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by John-Paul Marquant in the 29th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Linus Schwerner in the 33rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Green Madness's La Škarpa. If John-Paul Marquant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by John-Paul Marquant in the 35th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelino Flor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 37th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Terry Peysson sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John-Paul Marquant in the 41st minute of play. John-Paul Marquant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnoldo Betadur hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by John-Paul Marquant in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Sachs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelino Flor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Willy Stieler hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by John-Paul Marquant in the 60th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, John-Paul Marquant managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 73rd minute, Ahmet Orhan Perk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. If Terry Peysson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Terry Peysson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Terry Peysson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Orhan Perk in the 82nd minute of play. Adrian Dreifuss's late challenge caught a Green Madness's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrian Dreifuss helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Green Madness booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Green Madness's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Marcelino Flor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Terry Peysson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute, Maël Colombet made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maël Colombet in the 95th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Green Madness players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
