Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gündüz Dirican in the 6th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as TRABZONSPOR's Gündüz Dirican slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tommy Kahn. That made the score 2-0 after 16 minutes of play. A collision led to TRABZONSPOR getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Sermet Mukaddes hit a great ball. Albin Holweck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Cumhur Ulutan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommy Kahn was a little too slow when Gündüz Dirican got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulrich Stein in the 26th minute of play forced TRABZONSPOR's goalkeeper Cumhur Ulutan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cumhur Ulutan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Sachs's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. A hard shot 30 in the game by Gündüz Dirican from a close distance when the talented Tommy Kahn managed to make a qualified save. Germany's players were relieved. The supporters of TRABZONSPOR booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albin Holweck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Çelebi Yüksel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, TRABZONSPOR's Sermet Mukaddes got a free kick in the 41st minute. Cumhur Ulutan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albin Holweck, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Through an outstanding action, after 51 minutes, Cumhur Ulutan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 53rd match minute, TRABZONSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Kağan Siret to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, TRABZONSPOR's Cumhur Ulutan got control of the ball when Frank Sachs tried to sneak it across the goal line. When TRABZONSPOR's Gündüz Dirican in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Cumhur Ulutan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. TRABZONSPOR's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Frank Sachs scored to the left of an out of position Cumhur Ulutan, making the score, 4-1. Gündüz Dirican sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Çelebi Yüksel came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Germany were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after TRABZONSPOR's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Frank Sachs took the corner. Frank Sachs made a great header on Germany's corner, it was just that TRABZONSPOR's Cumhur Ulutan managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience was convinced that Janik Vogt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cumhur Ulutan was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. A nice corner shot did that Frank Sachs got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cumhur Ulutan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 89th minute of the match Lefter İbiş shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Kahn showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Albin Holweck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cumhur Ulutan having to interfere. Gökçe Sabri kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. TRABZONSPOR's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
