Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Frank Peletier took the kick off in the first half of the match. Edward Rydzewski came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by France's Remy Dupuy. But to his dismay, Remy Dupuy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 11 played minutes RPF Grabarze Olesnica got a freekick which was hit by Tomass Hajto. In the 12th minute Frank Peletier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Rydzewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Frank Peletier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 22 minutes of play, RPF Grabarze Olesnica's Igor Dziedelonis made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maxime Durand was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Karol Zalipski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor Dziedelonis struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Maxime Durand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RPF Grabarze Olesnica. Ebi Smolarek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Maxime Durand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. France's Maxime Durand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save France from getting a goal against them. Edward Rydzewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Peletier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Frank Peletier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The France fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Igor Dziedelonis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxime Durand having to interfere. When Alexis Bruneau fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored France's protests and gave Alexis Bruneau a yellow card for diving instead. After the first half France were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a defensive mix-up in France's zone, Igor Dziedelonis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maxime Durand came out of the goal and Igor Dziedelonis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55th minute, Frank Peletier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to RPF Grabarze Olesnica getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Lucjan Marchewka hit a great ball. Maxime Durand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Igor Dziedelonis's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. When Frank Peletier came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the France fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Peletier couldn't finish the play. In the 70thth minute of the game Karol Zalipski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but France's Maxime Durand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 73 minutes into the match, RPF Grabarze Olesnica's goalkeeper Edward Rydzewski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Camille Baume. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ebi Smolarek in the 74th minute of play. Maxime Durand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Dziedelonis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When France's Camille Baume in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RPF Grabarze Olesnica's goalie prevented a goal. Karol Zalipski might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maxime Durand. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karol Zalipski ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the France players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
