Ali Emir Berksoy's late challenge caught a Portugal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ali Emir Berksoy helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ruzgar Gibi Geçti getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Ali Emir Berksoy hit a great ball. In the 7thth minute of the game Ray Ruth who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Portugal's Felipe Barreto in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 27th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sikstas Ferdi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Ruzgar Gibi Geçti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariusz Biskupiak to maneuver through the defense. After 40 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Raul Caetano. Ruzgar Gibi Geçti's Sikstas Ferdi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 45th minute of play. Arkın İmralı hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Ray Ruth kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. Daniel Pimentel hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipinho Amorim got free with Sikstas Ferdi in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sikstas Ferdi came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Caetano Moreira. But to his dismay, Caetano Moreira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2.
