When Club Deportivo Progreso's Emanuil Kusitasev in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The crowd rose to their feet as Hulusi Berkman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vergil Karakolev. That made the score 2-0 in the 21 minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Ümit Akersoy dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vergil Karakolev, 3-0. Görkem Mümtaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Vergil Karakolev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32ndth minute of the game Hulusi Berkman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Deportivo Progreso's Vergil Karakolev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Hulusi Berkman came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Under 18 Universe fans jumped to their feet. With an all-out effort, Under 18 Universe's Vergil Karakolev threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ümit Akersoy, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 38thth minute of the game Göktuğ Boysel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Deportivo Progreso's Vergil Karakolev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Under 18 Universe's Ümit Akersoy got a free kick in the 41st minute. Totyo Trizlov kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. If Kadri Coşan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Ümit Akersoy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vergil Karakolev was relentless in the 46th minute of the game.

The wind increased when Kadri Coşan made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Ümit Akersoy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Under 18 Universe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After 60 minutes, Ümit Akersoy made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Club Deportivo Progreso's Vergil Karakolev tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hulusi Berkman in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vergil Karakolev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 70 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Progreso's goal looked a bit too open when Hulusi Berkman came free, but Vergil Karakolev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Under 18 Universe were furious when Atalan Maruf was red carded, 71 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Atalan Maruf kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Under 18 Universe's goal looked a bit too open when Donyo Irinchev came free, but Tahsin Orguntay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Club Deportivo Progreso defense, Görkem Mümtaz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vergil Karakolev. The Club Deportivo Progreso fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vergil Karakolev should have stopped the shot. Vergil Karakolev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hulusi Berkman, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Vergil Karakolev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hulusi Berkman in the 81st minute of the match. After 84 played minutes Under 18 Universe got a freekick which was hit by Göktuğ Boysel. After 88 minutes of play, Under 18 Universe's Hulusi Berkman made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vergil Karakolev was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vergil Karakolev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hulusi Berkman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severin Drashanski charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severin Drashanski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 94th minute, Severin Drashanski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
