Totyo Trizlov took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Meshal Al Sayer. Meshal Al Sayer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Meshal Al Sayer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Totyo Trizlov in the 29th minute of play. When Nizar Al Mosawe fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fan Cup FC - ⓈⒶⒻⒻ's protests and gave Nizar Al Mosawe a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th minute, Nizar Al Mosawe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sobah Al Mulaifi's late challenge caught a Club Deportivo Progreso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sobah Al Mulaifi helped the player get up and apologised. Sobah Al Mulaifi hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Abbas Ashkanani reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vergil Karakolev. The goal made the score 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Totyo Trizlov in the 43rd minute of play forced Fan Cup FC - ⓈⒶⒻⒻ's goalkeeper Meshal Al Sayer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Abbas Ashkanani made the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes Club Deportivo Progreso got a freekick which was hit by Toshko Gatzev. Club Deportivo Progreso's Vergil Karakolev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mnawer Al Shati in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Fan Cup FC - ⓈⒶⒻⒻ's Nizar Al Mosawe got a free kick in the 58th minute. Vergil Karakolev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nizar Al Mosawe in the 61st minute of play. Sobah Al Mulaifi got his second yellow card in the match during the 62nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Fan Cup FC - ⓈⒶⒻⒻ's Sobah Al Mulaifi got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 66 minutes into the game, Mnawer Al Shati was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fan Cup FC - ⓈⒶⒻⒻ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Deportivo Progreso the free kick. The supporters of Club Deportivo Progreso booed when Fan Cup FC - ⓈⒶⒻⒻ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mnawer Al Shati didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Fan Cup FC - ⓈⒶⒻⒻ's goal looked a bit too open when Elin Kerkenezov came free, but Meshal Al Sayer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Club Deportivo Progreso booed when Fan Cup FC - ⓈⒶⒻⒻ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fayez Bahbhani didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Deportivo Progreso's Totyo Trizlov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Meshal Al Sayer. That made the score 1-2 after 73 minutes of play. Elin Kerkenezov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Progreso's Emanuil Kusitasev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Meshal Al Sayer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Club Deportivo Progreso getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Emanuil Kusitasev hit a great ball. After 96 played minutes, Fan Cup FC - ⓈⒶⒻⒻ's Shehab Abol shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vergil Karakolev came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fan Cup FC - ⓈⒶⒻⒻ reached it. Club Deportivo Progreso's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
