Vasco FC's Gil Motta got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcel Anisie was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Gil Motta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gil Motta really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diego Teixeira during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Vasco FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Diego Teixeira hit a great ball. If Adalberto de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. DINAMO's Marcel Anisie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Motta in the 38th minute of play. Adalberto de Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Marcel Anisie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adalberto de Souza struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Marcel Anisie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vasco FC. DINAMO's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 73rd minute of the game, when Adam Rednic after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Vasco FC's goal. Adam Rednic was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Gil Motta notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of DINAMO's Marcel Anisie. Marcel Anisie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wellington Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basarab Bâlea, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute.
