The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Genílson Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Walmyr Breckenfeld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maicon Damião showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niculae Bărbulescu in the 45th minute of the match. A collision led to Unicorns ™ getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Gheorghe Albescu hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wanderson Paranaense was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Alex Răduț cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Maicon Damião was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wanderson Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isac Drâmba having to interfere. Maicon Damião took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Răduț, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Unicorns ™'s Viorel Ruşdea got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Rareș Papadima could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Maicon Damião made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rareș Papadima got free with Maicon Damião in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gheorghe Albescu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Silas Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 86 minutes into the match, Unicorns ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Silas Amorim came free, but Isac Drâmba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maicon Damião made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Rareș Papadima sent off a good shot on target. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
