In the 4th match minute, Vasco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Durvalino Dracena to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abbas Ashkanani in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wellington Barbosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonas Veloso hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Wellington Barbosa was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Hani Al Mothaf. The supporters of Vasco FC booed when Fan Cup FC - ⓈⒶⒻⒻ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fakher Al Youha didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Tiago Gabriel Mesquita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 27th minute, César de Godoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the game, Shehab Abol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fan Cup FC - ⓈⒶⒻⒻ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vasco FC the free kick. Wellington Barbosa came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Fan Cup FC - ⓈⒶⒻⒻ's Abbas Ashkanani. But to his dismay, Abbas Ashkanani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Sobah Al Mulaifi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Wellington Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Hussain Al Homaithe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Fayez Bahbhani fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fan Cup FC - ⓈⒶⒻⒻ's protests and gave Fayez Bahbhani a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th match minute, Fan Cup FC - ⓈⒶⒻⒻ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fayez Bahbhani to maneuver through the defense. Wellington Barbosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fan Cup FC - ⓈⒶⒻⒻ's Meshal Al Sayer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Fan Cup FC - ⓈⒶⒻⒻ from getting a goal against them. After 86 played minutes Fan Cup FC - ⓈⒶⒻⒻ got a freekick which was hit by Fakher Al Youha. Meshal Al Sayer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from César de Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gil Motta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Despite being the better team, Vasco FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
