Vasco FC's Wellington Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kadri Coşan in the 6th minute of play. When César de Godoi fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vasco FC's protests and gave César de Godoi a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Vasco FC's César de Godoi got a free kick in the 8th minute. With a little luck, Under 18 Universe's Tahsin Orguntay got control of the ball when Jonas Veloso tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 16th match minute, Vasco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marquinhos Schmidt to maneuver through the defense. Balamir Taykoç kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Marquinhos Schmidt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Tahsin Orguntay was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tahsin Orguntay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from César de Godoi in the 30th minute of play. After 34 played minutes Vasco FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Veloso. A nice corner shot did that Atalan Maruf got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wellington Barbosa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Wellington Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kadri Coşan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kadri Coşan in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wellington Barbosa saved Vasco FC from getting behind. Balamir Taykoç hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

52 minutes into the match, Vasco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Görkem Mümtaz came free, but Wellington Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atalan Maruf kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Wellington Barbosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kadri Coşan in the 57th minute. Wellington Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Görkem Mümtaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kadri Coşan in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wellington Barbosa saved Vasco FC from getting behind. Hulusi Berkman lost his temper 79 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 80th match minute, Under 18 Universe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hulusi Berkman to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute, Denílson Ramalho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vasco FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. 83 minutes into the game, Göktuğ Boysel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Under 18 Universe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vasco FC the free kick. Göktuğ Boysel hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. The Under 18 Universe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tahsin Orguntay should have stopped the shot. When Atalan Maruf came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Under 18 Universe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atalan Maruf couldn't finish the play. Ümit Akersoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Under 18 Universe's Ümit Akersoy in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vasco FC's goalie prevented a goal. 97 minutes into the match, Marquinhos Schmidt notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Under 18 Universe's Tahsin Orguntay. Tahsin Orguntay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
