The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. HollywooDogs's Gigio Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Generoso Michael in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute of the match, Gaspar Magdaleno got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gigio Buffon was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 16th minute Sidnei Xavier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Belasko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Galáctico Azul FC™ booed when HollywooDogs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fernando Motta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gigio Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eulalio Vincent in the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Vincent in the 23rd minute of play forced HollywooDogs's goalkeeper Gigio Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Fernando Motta kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. A hard shot by Maximo Cutberto from long distance, 27 minutes into the match, got Gigio Buffon's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 30th minute Galáctico Azul FC™ were awarded a corner. Maximo Cutberto went to the cornerflag to take it. Enrique Belasko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manoel Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After a rather tough play, Galáctico Azul FC™'s Maximo Cutberto got a free kick in the 41st minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 47 minutes into the game, when Alfredo Xabel put in a rough tackle. 45 minutes into the game, one of Galáctico Azul FC™:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucas Ribéry to make the kick off. With a little luck, Galáctico Azul FC™'s Enrique Belasko got control of the ball when Lucas Ribéry tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 62nd minute Lucas Ribéry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Belasko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. HollywooDogs's Régis Batista was substituted for Eliézer Custódio. HollywooDogs made a substitution. Ademar Santana replaced Wilson Motta. Galáctico Azul FC™'s Jose Tiso was substituted for Maximo Cutberto. The supporters of HollywooDogs booed when Galáctico Azul FC™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Tiso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Sidnei Xavier managed to get in a good position for a shot. HollywooDogs's supporters rose to their feet, but Sidnei Xavier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrique Belasko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to HollywooDogs getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Manoel Porto hit a great ball. Galáctico Azul FC™ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of HollywooDogs for a fine match.
