When Eske Valimaa, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 47 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Bebeto Paranaense was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 94th minute, Denílson Ferreira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hagbard Spanter. The goal made the score 0-10. The Grêmio RK75 players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
