In the 3rd minute, Toshko Gatzev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diego Costa in the 4thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vergil Karakolev, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Club Deportivo Progreso's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Mário Sérgio scored to the left of an out of position Vergil Karakolev, making the score, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Grêmio RK75's Diego Costa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vergil Karakolev. That made the score 2-0 after 9 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mário Sérgio in the 12th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Progreso's goalkeeper Vergil Karakolev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mário Sérgio in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vergil Karakolev, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Grêmio RK75's Adhemar Sabóia got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute Emanuil Kusitasev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bebeto Paranaense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vergil Karakolev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serginho Pinheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severin Drashanski hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Grêmio RK75 were furious when Serginho Pinheiro was red carded, 20 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 21st match minute, Grêmio RK75 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serginho Pinheiro to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Grêmio RK75's zone, Donyo Irinchev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bebeto Paranaense came out of the goal and Donyo Irinchev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Mário Sérgio fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grêmio RK75's protests and gave Mário Sérgio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Grêmio RK75 getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Mário Sérgio hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, Diego Costa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grêmio RK75 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Diego Costa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Vergil Karakolev made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Diego Costa made the kick off in the second half. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Grêmio RK75 reached it. Adhemar Sabóia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vergil Karakolev having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diego Costa in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vergil Karakolev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 81 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Progreso's goal looked a bit too open when Adhemar Sabóia came free, but Vergil Karakolev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Grêmio RK75's Diego Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vergil Karakolev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Mário Sérgio scored 8-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vergil Karakolev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vergil Karakolev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Costa in the 95th minute of the match.
