The audience thought a goal was coming when Adolfo Etxepare got free with Vergil Karakolev in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 32 minutes into the match, Flavio Pacorro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vergil Karakolev. Club Deportivo Progreso's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Flavio Pacorro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Club Deportivo Progreso's Vergil Karakolev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Duardo in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute of the match, Placido Santana tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vergil Karakolev saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Vergil Karakolev was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Valentin Duardo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Valentin Duardo really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valentin Duardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Club Deportivo Progreso's Vergil Karakolev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Duardo in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Coupon Busters II AR's goalkeeper Artemio Edwardo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donyo Irinchev. 56 minutes into the match, Adolfo Etxepare notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Club Deportivo Progreso's Vergil Karakolev. Vergil Karakolev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 59th minute, Adolfo Etxepare ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vergil Karakolev was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Valentin Duardo charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentin Duardo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Coupon Busters II AR getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Vergil Karakolev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 71 minutes of play, Club Deportivo Progreso's Emanuil Kusitasev made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Artemio Edwardo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vergil Karakolev came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Coupon Busters II AR's Valentin Duardo. But to his dismay, Valentin Duardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-1. Vergil Karakolev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Duardo in the 80th minute of play. In the 80th minute Placido Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vergil Karakolev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vergil Karakolev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Pacorro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the game, Coupon Busters II AR's Adolfo Etxepare nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vergil Karakolev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-1. Emanuil Kusitasev's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Artemio Edwardo firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Coupon Busters II AR getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Flavio Pacorro hit a great ball.
