Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joaquim Queirós in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hagbard Spanter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Reginaldo de Brito hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. With his leg Hagbard Spanter managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when SORRISO E. C.'s Joaquim Queirós fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot 17 in the game by Joaquim Queirós from a close distance when the talented Hagbard Spanter managed to make a qualified save. Skovlunde Galaxicos's players were relieved. Joaquim Queirós did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Hagbard Spanter 19 minutes into the match. Joaquim Queirós blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hagbard Spanter having to make a save. Hagbard Spanter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joaquim Queirós's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. After 28 minutes, Ivan Haburg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skovlunde Galaxicos and the SORRISO E. C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hagbard Spanter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Queirós in the 30th minute of the match. 33 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when SORRISO E. C.'s Joaquim Queirós fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Joaquim Queirós who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Hagbard Spanter when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hagbard Spanter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Queirós in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute of the match SORRISO E. C. got a corner. Skovlunde Galaxicos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vítor Sousa ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led SORRISO E. C.'s Vítor Sousa to fire away a dangerous shot which Hagbard Spanter despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 46th minute Artur Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hagbard Spanter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Øjvind Rybenfeldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvaldo Leal having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joaquim Queirós made a kick off. Júlio Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of SORRISO E. C. booed when Skovlunde Galaxicos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orla Gamburg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hagbard Spanter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Queirós in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, SORRISO E. C.'s Joaquim Queirós nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hagbard Spanter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Júlio Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hagbard Spanter having to interfere. After some careless play in the Skovlunde Galaxicos defense, Júlio Faria kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hagbard Spanter. The Skovlunde Galaxicos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hagbard Spanter should have stopped the shot. Hagbard Spanter came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by SORRISO E. C.'s Joaquim Queirós. But to his dismay, Joaquim Queirós quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. The audience was convinced that Joaquim Queirós's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hagbard Spanter was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Joaquim Queirós put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Hagbard Spanter. 89 minutes into the game, Artur Branco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SORRISO E. C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skovlunde Galaxicos the free kick. Artur Branco hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After 92 minutes of play, SORRISO E. C.'s Joaquim Queirós made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hagbard Spanter was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the SORRISO E. C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
