SORRISO E. C.'s Edvaldo Leal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save SORRISO E. C. from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute Beto Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvaldo Leal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 21 minutes of play, ITAFUT 4EVER's Guto de Castro made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edvaldo Leal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wiliam Paes kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Queirós in the 26th minute of play forced ITAFUT 4EVER's goalkeeper Ciro Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ITAFUT 4EVER's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SORRISO E. C. the free kick. In the 35th match minute, ITAFUT 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evair Palmeira to maneuver through the defense. Evair Palmeira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Edvaldo Leal made a huge save. Guto de Castro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edvaldo Leal having to make a save.

53 minutes into the game, Joaquim Queirós recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ciro Brasil. Joaquim Queirós showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. In the 56th minute Artur Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciro Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 60 minutes into the game, Pedro Luiz Perez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Edvaldo Leal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Evair Palmeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, ITAFUT 4EVER's Tonhão Palmeira got a free kick in the 67th minute. ITAFUT 4EVER's Ciro Brasil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Queirós in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Júlio Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Júlio Faria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Ciro Brasil made a huge save. SORRISO E. C.'s Edvaldo Leal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beto Viana in the 81st minute of play. ITAFUT 4EVER's Wiliam Paes got his second yellow card of the match in the 84th minute. The referee ordered Wiliam Paes off the ground. A collision led to ITAFUT 4EVER getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Wiliam Paes hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, ITAFUT 4EVER's Wiliam Paes got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute, Zé Paulo Gerber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute of the match ITAFUT 4EVER got a corner. SORRISO E. C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tonhão Palmeira ran over to the corner to take the kick.
