After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Zaccheo Andolina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Italy's supporters rose to their feet, but Zaccheo Andolina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serginho Nogueira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Serginho Nogueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The wind increased when Zaccheo Andolina made the kick off in the second half. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juninho Freitas, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Serginho Nogueira made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Zaccheo Andolina sent off a good shot on target. Siricio Liotta was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 61st minute of the match, Zaccheo Andolina tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Serginho Nogueira saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. PIAUÍ FC's Serginho Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Zaccheo Andolina dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Serginho Nogueira, 1-4. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baturhan Oytun couldn't finish the play. The Italy supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Italy would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
