In the 13th minute, Sven Nordkvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The spikarna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. A collision led to spikarna getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Atakan Pepe had several of the Germany's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 33 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Tommy Kahn as he didn't even see the shot coming. 40 minutes into the game, Kaj Hård recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn. Kaj Hård showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Lars Norberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 44th minute of the match. Sven Nordkvist's late challenge caught a Germany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sven Nordkvist helped the player get up and apologised.

The wind increased when Kaj Hård made the kick off in the second half. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaj Hård in the 53rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Frank Sachs kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lars Norberg. That made the score 6-1 in the 82 minute of play. Lars Norberg made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Frank Sachs sent off a good shot on target. Rickard Alefors made in the 93rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Germany's Albin Holweck. After 93 played minutes spikarna got a freekick which was hit by Atakan Pepe. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. spikarna had played much better football throughout.
