An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 20th minute of play forced Los romperredes F.C's goalkeeper Lia Saez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Idacio Helguera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Keld Paulsen made a huge save. 26 minutes into the match, Los romperredes F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Steen came free, but Lia Saez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Denmark booed when Los romperredes F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marquez Feal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 27 minutes, Bertram Svenningsen made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Los romperredes F.C's Lia Saez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lia Saez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chris Nygaard's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. After the first half Denmark were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mundo Marcilla to strike the kick off in the second half. Chris Nygaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Lia Saez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Denmark booed when Los romperredes F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto-Carlos Brasil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Los romperredes F.C's Casildo Galdamez. But to his dismay, Casildo Galdamez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. 62 minutes into the match, Bertram Svenningsen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lia Saez, 2-4. In the 65th minute, Lars Steen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Los romperredes F.C's Casildo Galdamez got a free kick in the 66th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Los romperredes F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Mikkel Wulff came free, but Lia Saez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Los romperredes F.C's Marquez Feal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Keld Paulsen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 80 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Chris Nygaard. After 85 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Mikkel Wulff. If Mikkel Wulff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marquez Feal in the 89th minute of play. Roberto-Carlos Brasil charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roberto-Carlos Brasil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 90th match minute, Los romperredes F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto-Carlos Brasil to maneuver through the defense. If Chris Nygaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, Bertram Svenningsen notched a goal, 2-7, to the right of Los romperredes F.C's Lia Saez. Lia Saez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Denmark's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
