Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The Netherlands fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Netherlands's Wim Wilmes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mel Önen in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnout Reekers saved Netherlands from getting behind. In the 25th minute, Wim Wilmes made a precise shot to the right of Donato Foddis. AC Collins's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 28th minute of play forced AC Collins's goalkeeper Donato Foddis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wim Wilmes scored 0-3 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Donato Foddis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Foddis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 45 minutes on the clock, Boleslaw Limanowski commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Donato Foddis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 63rd minute of the match. After 64 played minutes AC Collins got a freekick which was hit by Cesare Barberio. AC Collins made a substitution. Edinho do Nascimento replaced Mel Önen. AC Collins made a substitution. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexander Di Persio in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnout Reekers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Di Persio, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute Edinho do Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donato Foddis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 85th minute of play. Donato Foddis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Netherlands's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
