Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Frank Sachs made the kick off which started today's match. The crowd rose to their feet as Iwo Sawicki kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tommy Kahn. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pentti Ojala in the 10th minute of the match. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iwo Sawicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, Janik Vogt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christo Bothenhain in the 17th minute. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Hanns Weber sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. In the 39th minute, Albin Holweck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 41 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Albin Holweck. Iwo Sawicki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

When Iwo Sawicki came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Tiger fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iwo Sawicki couldn't finish the play. Concetto Raniolo made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Frank Sachs sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwo Sawicki in the 55th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Pentti Ojala put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. 61 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Iwo Sawicki came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Iwo Sawicki put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Pentti Ojala sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. Tiger made a substitution. Fatih Schwemer replaced Rudolf Speed. Concetto Raniolo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Albin Holweck. After 75 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Frank Sachs. Tiger's Ingo Ustorf was substituted for Yahya Kemal Özveren. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pentti Ojala, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After having played for 78 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd minute Albin Holweck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Concetto Raniolo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 82 minutes, Albin Holweck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albin Holweck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tiger's Thilo Heß got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Tiger players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
