The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Viriato Moura got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigan Frankson in the 3rd minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the game, Torrey Molloy recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wilson Amorim. Torrey Molloy showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torrey Molloy in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rigan Frankson to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, 1948 MKS's goalkeeper Ter Stegen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe Barreto. The supporters of Portugal booed when 1948 MKS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudy Lukas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Ter Stegen came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Felipinho Amorim. But to his dismay, Felipinho Amorim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 77 minutes into the match, Torrey Molloy notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 3-2 became the score in the 81st minute when Torrey Molloy elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Arnold McDecland kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Daniel Pimentel's late challenge caught a 1948 MKS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. 1948 MKS's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
