Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Doru Lițu made the kick off which started today's match. Takis Koutsos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wim Wilmes went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Takis Koutsos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Takis Koutsos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 7th minute of play. Takis Koutsos came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer. But to his dismay, Gijsbert ter Kruimer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Doru Lițu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 27th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of The Beatles's Takis Koutsos. Takis Koutsos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Netherlands's Wim Wilmes got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gustaaf Groeneveldt scored 0-4 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Takis Koutsos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gijsbert ter Kruimer to strike the kick off in the second half. Takis Koutsos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wim Wilmes in the 52nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Doru Lițu in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnout Reekers saved Netherlands from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 55th minute of play forced The Beatles's goalkeeper Takis Koutsos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Beatles's Takis Koutsos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save The Beatles from getting a goal against them. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Takis Koutsos having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Takis Koutsos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gustaaf Groeneveldt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Takis Koutsos having to make a save. In the 66th match minute, The Beatles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur Simão to maneuver through the defense. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Takis Koutsos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wim Wilmes got free with Takis Koutsos in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Netherlands's Wim Wilmes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Takis Koutsos. That made the score 0-5 after 79 minutes of play. The Beatles's Frederico Messias was substituted for Reinaldo Trancoso. Netherlands's Wim Wilmes has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 94th minute. Netherlands's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
