When Chris Mergenthaler fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Chris Mergenthaler a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Deportivo Pomelo Nenene booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Mergenthaler didn't get a good kick on the ball.
