Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Omar Toledo started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Omar Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but James Novak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by SiTomanBoy´s's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Omar Toledo was slow to take the kick. During this time Spain's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Spain's Vicente Merino to fire away a dangerous shot which James Novak despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Toninho Guerreiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Toledo in the 13th minute of play forced SiTomanBoy´s's goalkeeper James Novak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Omar Toledo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of James Novak. SiTomanBoy´s's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Omar Toledo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The audience was convinced that Toninho Guerreiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gabriel Ascaso was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. A collision led to SiTomanBoy´s getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Roland Brand hit a great ball. In the 24th minute Adria Bielsa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but James Novak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Ascaso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toninho Guerreiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute Francisco Ignacio Hanssen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Ascaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, SiTomanBoy´s's Verner Nord sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gabriel Ascaso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Toninho Guerreiro in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gabriel Ascaso saved Spain from getting behind. Francisco Ignacio Hanssen struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Gabriel Ascaso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SiTomanBoy´s. Toninho Guerreiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gabriel Ascaso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Toninho Guerreiro ran back to his position shaking his head. James Novak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adria Bielsa in the 42nd minute of the match. 42 minutes into the game, Spain's Adria Bielsa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. James Novak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Spain's Gabriel Ascaso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Ignacio Hanssen in the 46th minute of play. James Novak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Aranda in the 47th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Spain's corner Adria Bielsa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and James Novak quite easily take care of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Toninho Guerreiro to make the kick off. James Novak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Omar Toledo's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. The audience was convinced that Adria Bielsa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but James Novak was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Spain's Gabriel Ascaso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toninho Guerreiro in the 60th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SiTomanBoy´s's Francisco Ignacio Hanssen got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 64th minute Toninho Guerreiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Ascaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, SiTomanBoy´s's goal looked a bit too open when Jon Cubero came free, but James Novak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matias Ferrandis kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to SiTomanBoy´s getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Jorge Montt hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernán Torrejón in the 73rd minute of play forced Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute of the match SiTomanBoy´s got a corner. Spain's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roland Brand ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to SiTomanBoy´s's Simón Babarovic getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The supporters of Spain booed when SiTomanBoy´s was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Montt didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, SiTomanBoy´s's James Novak got control of the ball when Carles Cherro tried to sneak it across the goal line. 83 minutes in the game, Anastasio Barticciotto dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Gabriel Ascaso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toninho Guerreiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. James Novak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carles Cherro in the 91st minute. Gabriel Ascaso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernán Torrejón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute of the match SiTomanBoy´s got a corner. Spain's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roland Brand ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Roland Brand almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Spain's Gabriel Ascaso did a great save.
