The crowd rose to their feet as Cuervos AFC's Marcelo Petrigai slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tommy Kahn. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. Ismael Martxel made in the 8th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Germany's Linus Schwerner. After 12 minutes Germany's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Concetto Lenzi who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Germany's goalie and right to Zacarias Valery. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Germany's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 15 minutes into the match, Cuervos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Albin Holweck came free, but Evaristo Roldan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Roldan having to interfere. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 25 in the game by Stig-Åke Mattsson from a close distance when the talented Tommy Kahn managed to make a qualified save. Germany's players were relieved. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ismael Martxel during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Sachs to strike the kick off in the second half. Stig-Åke Mattsson struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cuervos AFC. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evaristo Roldan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 75th minute, Stig-Åke Mattsson made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Evaristo Roldan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evaristo Roldan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albin Holweck, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Willy Stieler during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
