Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the kick off in the first half of the match. Sergio Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gijsbert ter Kruimer scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sergio Romero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Egbert Nijveldt kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celso Isadore. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelino Che in the 15th minute of the match. Arnout Reekers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Radomir Fudalej went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 21stth minute of the game Gustaaf Groeneveldt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nahitantino's Sergio Romero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 23rd minute Lars Meesters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Nahitantino's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Sergio Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Radomir Fudalej came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustaaf Groeneveldt scored 1-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sergio Romero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 36 minutes into the match, Nahitantino's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Meesters came free, but Sergio Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 37th minute of play forced Nahitantino's goalkeeper Sergio Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Celso Isadore sent off a good shot on target. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Erramu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute of the match Nahitantino got a corner. Netherlands's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Celso Isadore ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Celso Isadore got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arnout Reekers quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Heintje Passos in the 43rd minute. A collision led to Nahitantino getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Teodosio Goito hit a great ball. Netherlands's Lars Meesters got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The wind increased when Heintje Passos made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Angelino Che shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomir Fudalej, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Netherlands's Wim Wilmes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sergio Romero. That made the score 1-3 after 55 minutes of play. When Gustaaf Groeneveldt came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaaf Groeneveldt couldn't finish the play. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heintje Passos in the 70th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Nahitantino fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! Gijsbert ter Kruimer walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. When Gustaaf Groeneveldt came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaaf Groeneveldt couldn't finish the play. Radomir Fudalej fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. A collision led to Nahitantino getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Teodosio Goito hit a great ball. In the 97th minute David Eikelkamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Netherlands supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Netherlands would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
