With his leg Flavio Vittori managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Blaugrana Stare Tychy's Cezary Kossakowski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 25th minute, Cezary Kossakowski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Flavio Vittori. The goal made the score 2-0. Cezary Kossakowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Flavio Vittori made a huge save. In the 34th minute, Cezary Kossakowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Florian Chodzinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 44th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Zaccheo Andolina had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florian Chodzinski. Blaugrana Stare Tychy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zaccheo Andolina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zaccheo Andolina made a kick off. Florian Chodzinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siricio Liotta in the 53rd minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Blaugrana Stare Tychy's Cezary Kossakowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavio Vittori narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Italy players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
