In the 36th minute, Gomberto Picozzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Severiano Saturnin made in the 41st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ricardo Barea however managed to control. The throw-in from Severiano Saturnin in the 42nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. 45 minutes into the game, one of Italy:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eray Zümer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Şahap Akın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 53rd minute Şahap Akın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Italy's attentive Siricio Liotta managed to snatch the ball when Severiano Saturnin made a throw-in in the 66th minute of the game. After having played for 75 minutes, Şahap Akın managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Team Calamity SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Şahap Akın was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eray Zümer, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 84 minutes into the match, Team Calamity SC's goal looked a bit too open when Sigfrido Auletta came free, but Sungurhan Saygın reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute of the match, Gianpaolo Mascari tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sungurhan Saygın saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Guiscardo Davide replaced Sigfrido Auletta. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Barea in the 91st minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Sungurhan Saygın successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 92nd play minute Sansone Vanella came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Sungurhan Saygın. 1-4. Guiscardo Davide scored 1-5 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sungurhan Saygın, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Italy played a much better game than Team Calamity SC and deserved their victory. The Team Calamity SC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
