Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Staffan Söderqwist kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Staffan Söderqwist in the 8th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Frank Sachs made a precise shot to the right of Marcus Hagström. Rank 1's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcus Hagström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute Germany were awarded a corner. Frank Sachs went to the cornerflag to take it. Frank Sachs made a great header on Germany's corner, it was just that Rank 1's Marcus Hagström managed to reach the ball for a save. Gösta Beckman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dick Lindgren got free with Tommy Kahn in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcus Hagström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. Albin Holweck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Albin Holweck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Rank 1's Michael Lundqvist got a free kick in the 36th minute. Albin Holweck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes in the game, Frank Sachs dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great ball. Marcus Hagström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frank Sachs went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Frank Sachs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Marcus Hagström made a huge save. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Malte Schiele hit a great ball. Germany were furious when Sven Krakouer was red carded, 75 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 74 minutes into the game, one of Germany:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 76th minute there was a penalty for Rank 1. Elias Hult stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tommy Kahn. 2-3. When Rank 1's Dick Lindgren in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germany's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dick Lindgren in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Holweck to maneuver through the defense. When Gösta Beckman came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Rank 1 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gösta Beckman couldn't finish the play. If Ulrich Stein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
