He walked away shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Dracena in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hungary's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Şafak Taze was slow to take the kick. During this time Bornova's players had a chance to rest. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 18th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tarık İnanç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 20th minute of play forced Bornova's goalkeeper Tarık İnanç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Bornova's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Tarık İnanç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tarık İnanç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bornova's Tarık İnanç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 34th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Bornova's Fernando Dracena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodor Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

52 minutes into the game, Beyhan Oğuztüzün was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bornova's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hungary the free kick. Beyhan Oğuztüzün kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, Bornova's goalkeeper Tarık İnanç had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Boros Benedek got a free kick in the 55th minute. After 58 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Szekeres Tamas. In the 60th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tarık İnanç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of Bornova:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hungary:s goal. Antal Valentin placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After 72 played minutes Bornova got a freekick which was hit by Beyhan Oğuztüzün. Antal Valentin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Tarık İnanç when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Bornova's Arif Burak Saygur got a free kick in the 79th minute. Tarık İnanç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 84th minute of the match. With a little luck, Bornova's Tarık İnanç got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Antal Valentin came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antal Valentin couldn't finish the play. Bornova's Michal Setara quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Szekeres Tamas, made in the 95th minute of the game. Hungary were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
