But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaaf Groeneveldt couldn't finish the play. Angel Vito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 13th minute of the match. Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Angel Vito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st match minute, Crottos Crotters F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herminio Seguinus to maneuver through the defense. After 22 played minutes, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Angel Vito came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Netherlands reached it. 26 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angel Vito narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Celestino Ler kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arnout Reekers. That made the score 3-2 in the 34 minute of play. Angel Vito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 38th minute of the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a kick off. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peng Xiong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erubiel Mede, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 66th minute of play forced Crottos Crotters F.C.'s goalkeeper Angel Vito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Baldomero Mateo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnout Reekers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Angel Vito got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Crottos Crotters F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angel Vito should have stopped the shot. Netherlands's Wim Wilmes got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, Wim Wilmes notched a goal, 5-4, to the right of Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Angel Vito. Angel Vito was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Many of Netherlands's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Netherlands may have spent more time on the ball, but Crottos Crotters F.C. were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
