The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Szekeres Tamas hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquin Hug got free with Fodor Daniel in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Vacid Nefer sent off a good shot on target. Club Deportivo Español's Turgut Talha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 12th minute of play. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Chayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Vacid Nefer came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Vacid Nefer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Hungary booed when Club Deportivo Español was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petrică Bărbulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Matias Chayo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. Turgut Talha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 48th minute. After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Antal Valentin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Turgut Talha quite easily take care of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vacid Nefer to strike the kick off in the second half. Turgut Talha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 52nd minute of the match. Vacid Nefer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Turgut Talha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 67th minute of play. Club Deportivo Español's Turgut Talha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Takacs Tibor in the 70th minute of play. Major Barna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Turgut Talha made a huge save. 76 minutes into the match, Vacid Nefer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vacid Nefer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 81st play minute Major Barna came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Turgut Talha. 3-2. In the 85th minute Vacid Nefer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Vacid Nefer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Vacid Nefer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 88 played minutes Club Deportivo Español got a freekick which was hit by Matias Chayo. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Jose Abar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Deportivo Español's supporters rose to their feet, but Jose Abar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hungary's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Club Deportivo Español had won, even though Hungary had held more of the ball.
