Lenny Clocheret lost his temper 7 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 6 minutes into the game, one of Belgium:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Casper Claes, was totally fooled by Villa Dálmine's Lisandro Lordi, who 8 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lisandro Lordi got free with Casper Claes in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Belgium's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Lisandro Lordi scored to the left of an out of position Casper Claes, making the score, 2-0. After 31 minutes Belgium's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Urbano Sandalio who took care of the corner kick. Casper Claes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lisandro Lordi in the 38th minute. After 39 played minutes Villa Dálmine got a freekick which was hit by Luis Maiorga. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lisandro Lordi got free with Casper Claes in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 46 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Sal came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yves Dervaux during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lisandro Lordi to make the kick off. A collision led to Villa Dálmine getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Fabian Peruanton hit a great ball. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Lordi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Armando Rio in the 63rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Belgium's Laurens Vandamme. In the 71st minute, Lisandro Lordi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isaac Sal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Villa Dálmine's Leandro Marino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Villa Dálmine from getting a goal against them. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Lordi in the 79th minute of play. Lisandro Lordi struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Casper Claes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villa Dálmine. In the 90th minute, Lisandro Lordi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Casper Claes was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Lisandro Lordi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
