Agustín Álvarezs short, quick shot in the 3rdth minute got Wilson Amorim to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Diego Covarrubias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. When Portugal's Felipe Barreto in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Montevideo City Torque's goalie prevented a goal. 12 minutes into the match, Viriato Moura had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christophe Troxler. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alkestis Papadopulos in the 18th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Montevideo City Torque's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Christophe Troxler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christophe Troxler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to Montevideo City Torque getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Gu Sha Zhen hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 37th minute of play forced Montevideo City Torque's goalkeeper Christophe Troxler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillelme Lomas in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Montevideo City Torque's goalkeeper Christophe Troxler, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Viriato Moura made a precise shot to the right of Christophe Troxler. Montevideo City Torque's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Daniel Pimentel hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the match, Agustín Álvarez notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 78 minutes of play, Montevideo City Torque's Agustín Álvarez made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 90th minute of play forced Montevideo City Torque's goalkeeper Christophe Troxler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Álvarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Álvarez came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
