Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nazariy Bogdaniv was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 19 minutes into the game, Nazariy Bogdaniv was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juventus FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Germany the free kick. Nazariy Bogdaniv hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Olexiy Stus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 23rd minute of the match. The supporters of Juventus FC booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malte Schiele didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olexiy Stus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Olexiy Stus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albin Holweck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Germany's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Frank Sachs in the 30th minute. Gennadiy Tytarchuk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. After 35 played minutes, Juventus FC's Gaspar Laredo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tommy Kahn came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Juventus FC reached it. Frank Sachs didn't quite understand what happened when in the 40 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. In the 43rd minute, Gaspar Laredo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tommy Kahn. The goal made the score 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bengt-Åke Pilberg in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 56th minute, Bengt-Åke Pilberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Juventus FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After a rather tough play, Juventus FC's Nazariy Bogdaniv got a free kick in the 58th minute. After having played for 64 minutes, Bengt-Åke Pilberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juventus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bengt-Åke Pilberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Robertinho Baggio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Olexiy Stus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 70th minute of the match. Rodion Tsernienko made in the 82nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Danilo J.J. however managed to control. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 87 played minutes Juventus FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodion Tsernienko. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robertinho Baggio in the 91st minute of play.
