Bohumir Kohout charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bohumir Kohout the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 3rd match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bohumir Kohout to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Silvio Ilixo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Vavrinec Holub to make any attempt to save it. In the 7th minute, Santamarina FC's Silvio Ilixo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vavrinec Holub. Vavrinec Holub yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Vavrinec Holub made an important save on a dangerous shot by Higinio Lando in the 12th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Czech Republic's zone, Higinio Lando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vavrinec Holub came out of the goal and Higinio Lando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute Silvio Ilixo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vavrinec Holub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 played minutes Santamarina FC got a freekick which was hit by Arsenio Ursino. In the 21st minute Alan Rezek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Segundo Francia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Segundo Francia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan Rezek, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. If Silvio Ilixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Czech Republic's zone, Maximino Hunfredo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vavrinec Holub came out of the goal and Maximino Hunfredo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 38 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Higinio Lando. Higinio Lando scored 4-0 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vavrinec Holub, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Alfredo Abeitia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erik Jilek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alfredo Abeitia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Vavrinec Holub tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 53rd minute, Alberto Barto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the match, Alfredo Abeitia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vavrinec Holub. Czech Republic's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfredo Abeitia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Santamarina FC's goalkeeper Segundo Francia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goal looked a bit too open when Silvio Ilixo came free, but Vavrinec Holub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Bohumir Kohout hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Higinio Lando in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vavrinec Holub saved Czech Republic from getting behind. Vavrinec Holub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Lando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vavrinec Holub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Barto in the 75th minute of the match. Higinio Lando scored 6-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vavrinec Holub, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 81 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Lando came free, but Vavrinec Holub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Vitek to maneuver through the defense. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Lando in the 86th minute of play. Denis Dostal hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Silvio Ilixo sped through Czech Republic's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vavrinec Holub. Maximino Hunfredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Santamarina FC had played much better football throughout.
