Javier Bordat might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fodor Daniel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Javier Bordat ran back to his position shaking his head. When Javier Bordat came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the SILMONT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Javier Bordat couldn't finish the play. In the 10th minute Takacs Tibor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qiu Zhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after SILMONT's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Balazs Lajos heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Martial Haas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. In the 15th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qiu Zhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind SILMONT's goalkeeper Qiu Zhi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Major Barna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qiu Zhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, SILMONT's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Qiu Zhi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antal Valentin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Balazs Lajos. In the 53rd minute, Titouan Canal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Boros Benedek got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute, Martial Haas sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Hungary's Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move. The audience was convinced that Javier Bordat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Hungary's Major Barna was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 63rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. SILMONT's Martial Haas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fodor Daniel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee felt a red card was in order, 88 minutes into the game, when Boros Benedek put in a rough tackle. After 87 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hungary! The referee gave SILMONT a penalty, 90 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Javier Bordat, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Hungary's Fodor Daniel. 2-1.
