An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 9th minute of play forced Elegance Dijon's goalkeeper Dave Rinaldi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Zaccheo Andolina notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Elegance Dijon's Dave Rinaldi. Dave Rinaldi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Porziano Marchitelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elegance Dijon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Italy the free kick. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zaccheo Andolina was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Elegance Dijon getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Stéphane Gaudy hit a great ball. 54 minutes into the match, Elegance Dijon's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Dave Rinaldi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mamadou Forte made in the 58th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. Zaccheo Andolina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Dave Rinaldi made a huge save. After 65 minutes, Mamadou Forte mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elegance Dijon and the Italy players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Elegance Dijon's Mamadou Forte got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute, Zaccheo Andolina reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dave Rinaldi. The goal made the score 0-4. Siricio Liotta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dave Rinaldi having to make a save. Zaccheo Andolina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dave Rinaldi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 82nd minute of the match. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. Italy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Siricio Liotta in the 85th minute. Dave Rinaldi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Curto, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Italy were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Elegance Dijon's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Siricio Liotta took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Elegance Dijon's goalie and right to Siricio Liotta. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Elegance Dijon's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Mamadou Forte kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. 92 minutes into the game, Italy's Adriano Curto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dave Rinaldi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilles Baur in the 96th minute of the match. Italy played a much better game than Elegance Dijon and deserved their victory. The Elegance Dijon players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
