Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off. Adalberto Nueva came out of the goal in the 2nd minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's David Eikelkamp. But to his dismay, David Eikelkamp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Adalberto Nueva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Adalberto Nueva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a precise shot to the right of Adalberto Nueva. Iron Maiden FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 14th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adalberto Nueva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Dave Murray tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adalberto Nueva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 18th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Gijsbert ter Kruimer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Adalberto Nueva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After taking down the ball on Iron Maiden FC's corner Günalp Talip fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arnout Reekers quite easily take care of the ball. When Honorio Torrent, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 22 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Arnout Reekers was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Arın Biçim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnout Reekers was a little too slow when Honorio Torrent got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 1-3. After 34 minutes Iron Maiden FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a great header on Netherlands's corner, it was just that Iron Maiden FC's Adalberto Nueva managed to reach the ball for a save. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dave Murray in the 36th minute. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from García Garate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Netherlands:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Iron Maiden FC:s goal. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arın Biçim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adalberto Nueva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dave Murray in the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute Iron Maiden FC were awarded a corner. Günalp Talip went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to Iron Maiden FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Dave Murray hit a great ball. Adalberto Nueva made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. Iron Maiden FC's Janick Geers was substituted for Dave Murray. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Lars Meesters hit a great ball. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Adalberto Nueva made a huge save. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Adalberto Nueva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Arın Biçim came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Günalp Talip in the 83rd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adalberto Nueva made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. When Rob Halford fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Iron Maiden FC's protests and gave Rob Halford a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th minute, Rob Halford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Iron Maiden FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorio Torrent didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iron Maiden FC's Adalberto Nueva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 94th minute of play. Günalp Talip kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Netherlands left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Iron Maiden FC.
