Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Frank Sachs started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Malte Schiele charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Malte Schiele the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Malte Schiele kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Guo Han Di tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Oldham Athletic booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albin Holweck didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Germany's Janik Vogt got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute, Adrian Dreifuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian-Federico Dolić, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The Oldham Athletic fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Oldham Athletic's Zhao Yao Ying looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zhao Yao Ying in the 30th minute. 34 minutes into the match, Frank Sachs notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Oldham Athletic's Guo Han Di. Guo Han Di was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Oldham Athletic's Zhao Yao Ying was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 38th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Muhammed-Emir Benice got free with Tommy Kahn in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 43 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zhao Yao Ying. Guo Han Di showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 45th minute of the match. Åke Aspengren's late challenge caught a Germany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Åke Aspengren helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th match minute, Oldham Athletic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åke Aspengren to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Zhao Yao Ying stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Zhao Yao Ying tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian-Federico Dolić, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The supporters of Oldham Athletic booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute Muhammed-Emir Benice shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Cristian-Federico Dolić ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Oldham Athletic made a substitution. William Tingelholm replaced Åke Aspengren. Aleksander Lingren made in the 69th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Valter Abrahamsson. In the 83rd minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guo Han Di saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 85th play minutes Muhammed-Emir Benice shot 6-1, a short shot which went by Tommy Kahn and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Germany booed when Oldham Athletic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleksander Lingren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zhao Yao Ying's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. When Oldham Athletic's Zhao Yao Ying in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germany's goalie prevented a goal. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Oldham Athletic's Zhao Yao Ying. But to his dismay, Zhao Yao Ying quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. Oldham Athletic's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
