Desiderio Montel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antal Valentin's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Michael Corleone stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Berart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute of the match, Major Barna got a very nice opportunity to score, but Desiderio Montel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Antal Valentin came free with the goalkeeper in the 68th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Desiderio Montel could save by the left post. Desiderio Montel made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Major Barna sent off a good shot on target. After 73 minutes Village Saint Charles FRC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Hegedus Henrik got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Desiderio Montel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Antal Valentin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Desiderio Montel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. After having played for 78 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Village Saint Charles FRC's Desiderio Montel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 83rd minute of play. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Llorienzo Varela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Michael Corleone's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. After 93 minutes Village Saint Charles FRC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. If Gerasimos Tzanetakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
