Igor Ignazio charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Igor Ignazio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Victor Korthsen was shown his second yellow card after 77 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 77 played minutes La Maquina 9-12-18 got a freekick which was hit by Victor Korthsen. The throw-in from Alberto Luken in the 83rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Curto in the 87th minute of play forced La Maquina 9-12-18's goalkeeper Jose Vimaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by La Maquina 9-12-18's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner.
