Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fodil Mansouri took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Mathijn Doctor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 5th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Halim Kader saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fodil Mansouri in the 9th minute of play. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Phenomenals FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmed Cohen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Halim Kader showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute, Jean-Michel Nicolleau ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnout Reekers was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Mathijn Doctor kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Halim Kader showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Phenomenals FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Wim Wilmes managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 31st minute of play forced Phenomenals FC's goalkeeper Halim Kader to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 played minutes Phenomenals FC got a freekick which was hit by Ahmed Cohen. Halim Kader didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-Michel Nicolleau, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 44 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Marcin Danisiewicz came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Halim Kader made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 51st minute. Lars Meesters was extremely unlucky when he, in the 52nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 55 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Lars Meesters sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Halim Kader narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fodil Mansouri in the 56th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Halim Kader in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Halim Kader showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. With a little luck, Phenomenals FC's Halim Kader got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcin Danisiewicz in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fodil Mansouri in the 72nd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute Fodil Mansouri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Phenomenals FC's goalkeeper Halim Kader had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Phenomenals FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Wim Wilmes scored to the left of an out of position Halim Kader, making the score, 1-2. 86 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Halim Kader. Phenomenals FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gijsbert ter Kruimer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 89th minute Fodil Mansouri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Halim Kader. Phenomenals FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustaaf Groeneveldt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolf Steimle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Phenomenals FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Netherlands's performance. The match ended with a win for Netherlands.
