Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) ToCoTaN FC's Teobaldo Txindoki started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Teobaldo Txindoki lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Arnout Reekers. 6 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edelmiro Veronica made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 10th minute of play forced ToCoTaN FC's goalkeeper Edelmiro Veronica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Humberto Distiratsu kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Rubén Montt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gustaaf Groeneveldt came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaaf Groeneveldt couldn't finish the play. Edelmiro Veronica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 23rd minute of play. Edelmiro Veronica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Eikelkamp in the 28th minute of the match. After 34 minutes ToCoTaN FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Lars Meesters almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ToCoTaN FC's Edelmiro Veronica did a great save. Edelmiro Veronica came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt. But to his dismay, Gustaaf Groeneveldt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 41st minute of play forced ToCoTaN FC's goalkeeper Edelmiro Veronica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Lars Meesters reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edelmiro Veronica. The goal made the score 1-3. Edelmiro Veronica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 54th minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Edelmiro Veronica made a huge save. In the 56th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teobaldo Txindoki in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnout Reekers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edelmiro Veronica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 62nd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edelmiro Veronica narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner ended in Gijsbert ter Kruimer almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ToCoTaN FC's Edelmiro Veronica did a great save. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Wallin, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Netherlands's zone, Jethro Van Landschoot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal and Jethro Van Landschoot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gustaaf Groeneveldt struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Edelmiro Veronica didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Txindoki in the 77th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Veronica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Netherlands's zone, Teobaldo Txindoki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal and Teobaldo Txindoki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wim Wilmes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Edelmiro Veronica made a huge save. Netherlands played a much better game than ToCoTaN FC and deserved their victory. The ToCoTaN FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
