With a left leg Arnout Reekers saved Netherlands from getting behind. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when El Boudiaf tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from El Boudiaf in the 33rd minute of play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Wim Wilmes hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gijsbert ter Kruimer to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Taliban FC's goalkeeper Kristián Pražan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wim Wilmes. 57 minutes into the match, El Boudiaf notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Netherlands's Arnout Reekers.
